Welcome to the newest K-12 Christian School in Motown! 
Detroit Christian Schools, located at
2550 West Grand Boulevard (just three doors west of Hitsville USA/Motown Museum), was officially opened to continue Christian education in Detroit after Detroit Urban Lutheran School closed in 2011.

Detroit Christian Schools is an independent, non-denominational K-12 Christian school program operated by Detroit Christian Schools of Excellence, a Michigan Non-profit corporation.

DETROIT CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS of EXCELLENCE is working toward a greater vision for Detroit.  A real revitalization of the City must begin by developing Christian leadership in Detroit's children today.  DCSE will work with other Christian Churches and Schools to bring about an expansion of Christian education in Detroit as an integral part in the revitalization of the City.

As a CHRISTIAN SCHOOL in Michigan  - not a charter school - DCS is funded solely by tuition and donations.

We have been truly blessed by many who have stepped out in FAITH with us in our new venture, and many more who join us each day!  While we may not know the details of everything which lies ahead, we do know that the Lord is leading us into an exciting future!
